Dr. Michael Berenstein, BSc.,DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Berenstein graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004 and holds an honors degree in Biology and Kinesiology from York University. Dr. Berenstein is a licensed member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and a member of the Canadian (CCA) and Ontario (OCA) Chiropractic Associations.

In addition to chiropractic, Dr. Berenstein is a certified Functional Range Systems provider, including certifications in Functional Range Assessment (FRA), Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), and Functional Range Release (FR). Additionally, Dr. Berenstein is certified in Graston Technique, Cold Laser Therapy, and Custom Orthotics.

 

Dr. Berenstein provides Diversified Chiropractic, and various manual therapy techniques and modalities, and emphasizes mobility training for rehabilitation and functional optimization.

Dr. Barry Nguyen, BSc.,DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Barry Nguyen completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo, where he earned his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He went on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic post-graduate degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). There, he developed a keen interest in patient-centered care and looking at the patient as a whole rather than solely at the injury. He concurrently completed his certificate in Medical Acupuncture at CMCC.

 

During his time at CMCC and post-graduation, Dr. Barry has been involved as a club chiropractor and a head coach for the Richmond Hill Thundercats Volleyball Club, as well as teaching Physiology & Anatomy to Registered Practical Nurse Students at Seneca College.

 

In his spare time, Dr. Barry enjoys spending time with his family, playing beach volleyball, hockey, golf, and enjoying the outdoors whenever he gets the chance.

Dr. Julian Coronas, BSc.,DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Julian Coronas graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2019 and holds an honours degree in Kinesiology from York University. In addition to chiropractic, Dr. Coronas is a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Practitioner and utilizes a functional approach to injury rehabilitation and performance care.

 

Dr. Coronas provides chiropractic manipulations, neurofunctional acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation, and nutritional recommendations. His areas of interest are in improving performance, preventing injury, and injury and concussion rehabilitation.

Brendan Cheung, BSc.,FR/FRC

Acupuncture

Brendan is a registered practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a registered acupuncturist. He has over 15 years of experience and has worked in diverse clinical settings. Brendan is thrilled to be a part of the multidisciplinary team at LiveWell, where he can provide the best care to patients through an integrated approach.  Brendan specializes in medical acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medical acupuncture. He is experienced in treating musculoskeletal conditions, gynecological health, and fertility. Brendan is also a certified Functional Range (FR) release and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) practitioner.

Elena Boll, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Elena moved to Toronto from Germany in 2006, and has now practised massage therapy for four years. She initially worked for L’Arche, an organization that provides homes for people with physical and mental disabilities. Elena was inspired there by a massage therapist who helped the residents relax and improve, and began her own training in massage shortly after. She views massage therapy as an important part of overall wellness, and an integral part of preventative healthcare, along with fitness and nutrition.  Elena does Swedish/deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, and aromatherapy.

Valerie Morris, RMT

Valerie is devoted to wellness and healing. She is a graduate of both the Rehabilitation and Massage Therapy programs at Sir Sandford Fleming. Experienced, she has been practicing as an RMT for 17 years and dealt with a variety of health concerns such as, sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, pre/post-natal tension, migraines, TMJ, scar tissue, and post-surgery recovery.  With Valerie you will receive individualized and tailored treatments based on her extensive knowledge and expertise.

Dedicated to fitness and an active lifestyle, she has gained a great appreciation of how the body feels under different stresses and how best to remedy recovery

Natsha Krisanachinda, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

Natsha Krisanachinda is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Sutherland-Chan massage therapy school in 2011. She is trained in numerous modalities, including: general Swedish technique, deep tissue, joint mobilization, pre-natal, trigger-points treatment. She has also trained in several specialized massage clinics including pre- and post- thoracic surgery at Toronto General Hospital, and sport, pregnancy, seniors and multiple sclerosis clinics.

Natsha worked as a holistic practitioner offering Thai massage. She holds a Thai massage therapy certification from The Union of Thai Traditional Medicine Society.

Natsha is dedicated to providing excellent care, and believes that educating her clients is an essential part of their overall wellness. She combines her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology with elements of relaxation and a variety of techniques including Thai massage (stretching, acupressure) and Swedish massage to provide effective treatment that helps clients to achieve their health goals.

Katharine Liberatore, BSc.,

Osteopathic Therapist

Katharine has been involved with the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO) since beginning her career in the field: she has worked as a teaching assistant, and a member of its academic council since 2005; she has worked as a clinic supervisor at the CCO since 2009; and as a thesis supervisor since 2006.  

 

Katharine’s primary specializations include concussions and minor head and/or neck injuries, headaches and migraines, as well as shoulder, wrist, hand, and foot pain.

Daniel Snider, R.Kin,

Daniel uses an integrative, holistic “hands on” approach to create a customized treatment program for each individual. Using manual therapy, corrective exercises, and patient education, he believes in empowering people to take an active role to improve their health and wellbeing. Daniel sees patients of all ages and fitness levels. He specializes in orthopaedic rehabilitation, including pre- and post surgical care, and continues to upgrade his knowledge and skills in concussion management. His services also include custom orthopaedic bracing and athletic taping.

Laura is a nutritionist, registered massage therapist, yoga  instructor, with over 12 years of experience in the health and wellness industry.  Her passion lies in educating people and supporting them on their journey to looking and feeling their best, while still allowing for some indulgences.

Laura is primarily focused on digestive health and stress management.  What makes her practice unique, is that she applies her extensive knowledge in nutrition, massage, reiki, and yoga therapy to provide a holistic approach to her clients.  Laura offers online programs and virtual treatment plans designed to help her clients reclaim their health in a fun, delicious, and sustainable way.

Viet-Ha Dam has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2002. David Hong, BSc. Kin, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist

David is a Registered Massage Therapist practicing since 2013. He earned his Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo (2009) and later completed his Massage Therapy education at Centennial College (2013). A couple years into his practice he then continued his education and got his Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Diploma from McMaster University (2015). His treatment primarily focuses on rehabilitation in sports and chronic repetitive work related injuries. He was also a part-time instructor at Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy teaching school (2018).

David has 7 years of experience practicing in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting. He is able to tailor his treatments based on the needs of each individual patient.
